The Young Professor
A student comes to a young professor's office hours. She glances down the hall, closes his door, and leans provocatively on his desk.
"I would do anything to pass this exam." She leans closer to him, flips back her hair, gazes meaningfully into his eyes. "I mean..." she whispers, "...I would do...anything."
The professor returns her gaze. "Anything?"
"Anything."
His voice quivers. "You really mean...Anything??"
"Anything."
His voice turns to a whisper. "Would you...study?"
Sometimes the best thing to do is work hard.
We are told more often than not that it's better to work smarter than harder...and certainly that's true. But sometimes we can not afford the time it takes to learn the process well enough to be smart about it. Sometimes, you just got to put your back into it. What would the result be if you learned how to work smarter and then, worked hard at working smart?
A warrior is willing to do what's hard.
What is the hard work you are avoiding...just because it's hard? In "Experience the Leap" (http://www.tomterwilliger.com/2009/01/26/experience-the-leap-4-part-webinar-info/) we are taught that the "hard" thing will probably deal with 85% of the issue you are facing. It's just hard to deal with. That's why we avoid it. Our brain tries to protect us from pain and hard work is not always pain free...
but it does have it's rewards.
"The heights of great men reached and kept,
Were not obtained by sudden flight,
But they, while their companions slept
Were toiling upward in the night."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
While the rest of society buys into the gimmick that there is some mopping liquid that will make your life easier, or car that will make relationships effortless, the truth remains, you will only get out what you put in.
John Capuzzi said, "A free lunch is only found in mousetraps."
The kids Warrior camp is beginning to fill. There is only space for 60 kids. If you are interested in your child having the most life changing experience they may ever have this summer, go to http://firemountainprograms.com/registration.html and download the registration forms. The tuition is $697.00 Until March 15th.
To your hard work...make sure someone has your back.

Don't think for a second that the kids warrior camp is easy...but it is fun!
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
